Lédger® Recovery Login
Secure Access to Ledger Recover and Wallet Backup
Lédger® Recovery Login refers to the account-access process associated with Ledger Recover, an optional service provided by Coincover that creates an encrypted backup of access to a user's Secret Recovery Phrase. Ledger states that the service can be accessed through the Ledger Live mobile application after the wallet has been set up and the user completes the required identity-verification process.
How Ledger Recover Works
Ledger Recover is designed as an additional backup option for users who want a way to restore wallet access if their Ledger device or recovery sheet is unavailable. According to Ledger, the Secret Recovery Phrase is encrypted, fragmented, and distributed among independent companies using hardware security modules. Access to the backup requires identity verification.
Recovery Login Process
To begin, set up your Ledger device and synchronize it with the official Ledger Live application. Open the Ledger Recover section and follow the displayed instructions to create your Recover login. Ledger's process includes identity verification and other security checks before a recovery backup can be activated.
If you need to restore access through Ledger Recover, Ledger recommends using a new Ledger device and opening the Ledger Live mobile application. Navigate to the Ledger Recover area, complete the required identity checks, and follow the instructions displayed by the application.
Important Security Information
Your Secret Recovery Phrase remains extremely sensitive. Never type your 12- or 24-word recovery phrase into a website, email, chat, browser extension, or support form. Ledger specifically advises users to enter their Secret Recovery Phrase only on their Ledger device. Always verify that you are using official Ledger software before starting a recovery process.
